Secondary healthcare service: Invasive procedures to treat lesions/cavities that are in enamel, dentine, the pulp and cementum, using dental restorative materials such as white & silver fillings (composite and amalgam)

Root canal treatment: The removal of permanently damaged nerves to preserve the function of the tooth without pain.

Tertiary health care services: Rehabilitation stage including removable partial & full prostheses (plastic partial & full denture). fixed prosthesis (crown & bridges and implants), major surgical procedures (removal of impacted teeth including wisdom teeth and fractures of the mandible) and orthodontic treatment (removable and fixed appliances)
